HOW DO I WEAR A HAT?

Hi there, I've always loved hats and yet seem to have the classic head that doesn't look good in any of them. I usually opt for a pork pie on my head (pork pie hat obviously!) but somehow it just doesn't look good. Do certain hats have better ways of being worn? i.e tilted to one side, pulled forward etc. Any advice really appreciated as at the moment i just look a bit stupid.
