Lenovo laptop G550 major drivers issue

since a reinstal of XP pro+SP3 almost 2 weeks ago, i have device/driver issues...
i downloaded all the Intel drivers and then TSHTF
#1 problem: no wifi
the wifi sign is white/grey with a red "x", a mouse over says "driver is not installed", any attempt to instal said driver results in "device not installed"

#2 no sound (apart from the amazingly loud 'mechanical' beep when something stops working/installing)
control panel --&t;sounds /audio = no audio device ? i always thought that Windows installed and that specific drivers were for "fine tuning" the sound

#3 control panel -> system properties -> hardware -> device manager has 5 yellow "?"
1 network controller
2+3 unknown device
4 video controller
5 video controller (VGA compatible)
