Moving network equipment

Hi all,
I need to move two servers, a cable modem, a 24 port Cisco Catalyst 2950 switch, and a Cisco router to a new server room on the 2nd floor.
Currently, the Cisco 24 port switch is connected to a patch panel on the 2nd floor (where all of the 2nd floor computers/printers are terminated).The Cisco 24 port switch is also plugged into a HP Procurve 8 port switch located on the first floor via a Cat5 cable drop from 2nd floor to 1st floor. The HP Procurve switch is plugged into the Cisco Router (port 7), and the Cisco router is plugged into a TimeWarner Cable modem (port 0).
My plan is to relocate the cable modem, 24 port Cisco switch, Cisco router, and new servers to a table next to each other in the same room on the 2nd floor.
My question: Can I plug the Cisco 24 port switch into port 7 of the Cisco router without having to reconfigure any settings in the router or switch itself? I would still maintain a connection to the 1st floor HP switch using the Cat5 drop from the switch now in the new server room to the HP Procurve switch on the 1st floor.
