Nexus 6 components in similarly sized phone housing & LCD

Hi all. So my Nexus 6's screen is entirely nonfunctional, but replacement screens are &36;100-&36;150ish. I was wondering if i couldnt remove the motherboard, flex cable, & misc. guts from the cracked Nexus 6, then fit it all into a cheaper 6ish inch LCD phone housing?
