Swiss hacker sued after citing credit for infringing Nissan, Intel.

The Swiss computer hacker who claims to help steal or distribute proprietary information from the latest Nissan Motor Co, Intel Corp and Verkada, the latest security camera has been indicted on Thursday, U.S. prosecutors said.So far, Kottmann, 21, remained in Lucerne and was informed about pending charges, the U.S. attorney's office in Seattle said in a statement.Kottmann did not immediately respond to a request for comment following the announcement of the indictment, which took place just after midnight in Lucerne.

Kottmann over the slot xo last year was accused of working with a group that had access to internal files owned by at least eight individuals, including six unnamed companies, the Washington State Department of Transportation and a federal agency that was not disclosed according to the indictment.Kottmann and others gain access to protected computers, including 'git' repositories and source code, as well as internal infrastructure through the use of access keys, stolen credentials and exploits," the indictment said.

Overall, Kottmann hacked dozens of businesses and government agencies and published purported leaks from more than 100 agencies.In social media posts and on the website, Kottmann was accused of sharing some of the information and being credited for violating the document.The date and description in the two alleged hacking indictments coincide with Kottmann's past statements regarding Intel and Nissan.Intel declined to comment.Nissan and Verkada did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

This month, Kottmann shared with Reuters about the live surveillance video recordings and the Kottmann archive obtained from inside the Tesla factory, Alabama's prison and other facilities by accessing the Verkada administrative system.Prosecutors accused Kottmann of late fraud, aggravated identity theft, and collusion in computer fraud and abuse.It was not immediately clear whether Kottmann would be taken to the United States for punishment. Swiss authorities raided Kottmann's home last week.
